AMAZING Aliens Rap…

Posted in Horror, Movie Clips, Movies, Music, Science on February 6, 2010 by Matt

Here we go again.  10 minutes of pure awesomeness, DJ MAYHEM and Mouthmaster Murf (a.k.a. The Anomalies) have produced a recitation of the entire plot of Aliens in the form of a sick beat and great lyrical flow.  I hope they keep on releasing videos…I hope that they’re next video involves the plot of The Thing, using Ennio Morricone’s chilling score as their hip hop beat.  I guess we’ll see what happens in about 6 months.

Tron Legacy VFX Concept Test…

Posted in Animation, Movies, Posters, Science on July 24, 2009 by Matt

Last year at the San Diego Comic-Con, they showed off a scene of test for the sequel formerly known as TR2N and online you could only watch a bootleg version of it.  It wasn’t until a year later, today, where they finally released a high quality video of what the test footage entails.  Looks like Tron Legacy just got bumped up to the top of my list of movies to see in 2010.  I included a clip from the 1982 movie, as well as the VFX concept test video.

Humans Glowing?…

Posted in Movies, Science on July 22, 2009 by Matt

I came across this article today on Yahoo! News about how the human body is able to emit light in small quantities.  When I first saw the aticle I couldn’t help but think of Berry Gordy’s The Last Dragon.  Does this mean that the part where Sho’nuff and Bruce Leroy are displaying the power of the glow, it wasn’t some sort incredible idea that the director came up with, but actually science fact?!?

Check out the article down below, it’s actually kind of interesting.  Now watch this video in awe of how AWEsome it is.
