The Wicker Man Is a Funny Movie…

We all know that the remake of ‘The Wicker Man’ (2006), starring Nicholas Cage, is just another movie to add to the list of ‘Hilariously Bad Movies’.  Someone has taken the ‘How’d it get burned?’ scene and edited/synched it to Beethoven’s ‘Fifth Symphony’.  Check it out.

Now, here are the ‘funniest’ bits from the movie…”How’d it get burned…” included.

(Jesus…what a terrible movie)

The Taking of Pelham 1(One) 2(Two) 3(Three)…

The trailer for ‘The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3′ has been released.  The Tony Scott remake stars Denzel Washington as subway dispatcher, Zachary “Z” Garber, and John Travolta as lead hijaker, Bernard Ryder a.k.a. “Mr. Blue”.  The basic premise to the movie is that Mr. Blue and his gang hijack a subway train, dubbed Pelham 1 2 3, and demand one million dollars, or else they will start shooting one hostage at a time.  Garber is forced into the situation and must figure a way to negotiate and try to save all of the hostages.

Trailer: Remake

For me, Tony Scott is hit-or-miss for me.  I’m not sure how he’s going to handle the remake, I guess I still need to see the original.  I can’t help, but think that this is going to feel exactly like Spike Lee’s ‘Inside Man‘.

Speaking of the original, it has one of the most awesome posters I’ve ever seen.  Also the theatrical trailer looks more intense than the remake, which I guess is no surprise, because it’s pretty rare to see an awesome remake these days.  Oh, the original features two awesome actors…Walter Matthau as Garber and Robert Shaw as Blue.
